Valentine’s Day gets a bad rap. Sure, if you’re single, it can be pretty annoying to see your friends receive these wonderful presents from their significant others. But, Valentine’s Day isn’t just about romantic relationships – it’s about love. More importantly, it’s about appreciating the people you love and spending time with them. So, whether you’re single or coupled up, here are some fun Valentine’s activities for everyone.
Whether you’re single or taken, you can sign up to participate in Romantically Challenged at Saturn. A game show in the style of The Newlywed Game or the The Dating Game, the proceeds of this event will benefit Equality Alabama, a state program with a mission to defend and protect the rights of the LGBTQ+ community in Alabama. Plus, there will be prizes! Interested in participating? Singles can sign up here!
SisterGolf, an initiative for female professionals to use golf for networking, is hosting “Drinks on the Links” at TopGolf. A ladies-only event for Valentine’s Day, this is a fun way for a group of single gals to get together and play some golf. As an added bonus, there will be dessert.
Ever wondered why Valentine’s Day couldn’t just be another Halloween? Well, say no more. Warehouse 31 is having their annual Bloody Valentine event. With haunted attractions galore, this is the perfect way for naysayers to get spooked into loving Valentine’s Day. Also, if you’re looking for love advice, the monsters will have plenty to offer. You can purchase tickets and find more information here.
There is no limit to the kind of fun you can have on Valentine’s Day, so grab all of your favorite people and head out to one of (if not all) of these awesome events!
