With the recent opening of The Pizitz Food Hall and Urban Cookhouse, Serendipity joins the Birmingham restaurant scene.

One of the latest creations to come out of Birmingham’s Innovation Depot is Serendipity, a cafe with a unique concept. Taking the place of the Culinard Cafe, Serendipity contains a meat and three hot bar, as well as a cold bar for meals such as salads. The goal of the eatery is to provide healthy lunch options for customers, while still allowing them to select their food options.

The mind behind this new Birmingham restaurant in local chef Daniel Briggs. Originally pursuing a concept for developing commercial food products, Briggs was inspired by the space he found at Innovation Depot. Playing off the concept of receiving good food without the long wait, Briggs is bringing an artistic touch to delicious meals.
