There are so many things to do in Little Rock, Arkansas that it was difficult to pick our five faves. The Rock offers fun outings for people of all interests and ages. Enjoy a concert and a show, a one-of-a-kind meal, or beautiful views and awesome shopping, all within reach of your Little Rock apartment.

Wildwood Park

Wildwood Park is eighteen minutes outside of downtown Little Rock and its grounds are a woodland paradise. The park is free to enter with on-site parking. In addition, it features festivals and public art. Wildwood Park’s eight unique gardens include Swan Lake, home to mated swans Bella and Alexander.

River Market

River Market, located in downtown Little Rock, is an entertainment hotspot with the city’s best food and shopping. Visitors to River Market can spend a night out at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. They can peruse the many craft breweries in River Market or savor some food from Ottenheimer Market Hall.

The Bookstore at Library Square

The Bookstore at Library Square is one of the highlights of the River Market area. Housed in the renovated Cox Building, this bookstore offers both new and used books. Spend hours browsing the shelves for a new book to bring back to your apartment in Little Rock. Or check out the Main Library right down the street to loan a title that sounds intriguing.

Main Street Food Truck Festival

One of Little Rock’s biggest events on Main Street is the Main Street Food Truck Festival. Over fifty food trucks fill Main Street for good food and good times with food representing all regions of the US and beyond. Vendors such as Nach ‘yo Nachos, Wok ‘n Roll, and Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling Co. offer new eating experiences that will have you attending this year and every year after.

Arkansas Symphony Orchestra

Little Rock is home to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra (ASO). Their concerts occur year round with both classical musical and contemporary selections. They offer community events for adults interested in music and kid-friendly workshops to get little ones interested in music. For those wanting a more formal night out, the ASO offers an engaging option.
