Felting

In the last few years, felting has become one of the most popular crafts in the hobby industry. Felting involves taking wool and poking it with a felting needle. This causes the wool to solidify and create a shape over time. With felting, you can create anything from farm animals to adorable succulents you’ll never have to water. Amazon has a full starter kit that can be shipped directly to your front door.

Gardening

Gardening is a perfect hobby for those who are itching for the outdoors. All you need is a small space with good sunlight and dirt to create a gardening bed. No outdoor space of your own? No problem! Grow plants in containers on your deck or patio. You can even grow some veggies and herbs indoors! This is also a great way to grow your own healthy vegetables and enjoy them in the safety of your home.

Cooking

Since you’re growing your own herbs and veggies, you might as well learn how to cook with them! Cooking is an excellent hobby that is beneficial in many ways. Cooking can oftentimes be relaxing, and a good meal is always a result. Learning to cook is always a helpful skill, no matter who you are. And with websites that cover all those basic questions you’re afraid to ask, learning how to cook has never been easier.

Embroidery

Like felting, embroidery has also experienced an explosion in popularity in recent years. Embroidery involves “sewing” thread into a piece of cloth using embroidery hoops. Depending on what you prefer, it can be as limitless as you’d like. Websites and blogs have endless examples and premade designs, or you can easily create your own.
