Located on the bustling Clinton Avenue West, Yellowhammer Brewery has offered great beers since 2010. From their signature Belgian White to the zesty T-Minus Kölsch, their beers have something for everyone. Stop in for a seasonal brew. Bring your pooch, too: they’ve got a dog-friendly patio with a park right next door.
Straight to Ale
Just down the road from Yellowhammer, you’ll find another famed Huntsville brewery, Straight to Ale. From its humble beginnings in Huntsville’s historic Lincoln Mill, Straight to Ale is now located in Campus 805 along with several restaurants, bars, an arcade and a pool room. Their famous Monkeynaut is sure to please IPA fans and the Lily Flagg Milk Stout is world-renowned. Come by if you want a fun and happening place to enjoy good food, great beer and great people.
Salty Nut Brewery
Further down Clinton Avenue, you’ll find Salty Nut Brewery. Opened recently, Salty Nut Brewery features brews that hardcore beer fans will love. The selection varies from the hoppy Imperial Moustache Red to the Hawt Blonde Ale to fruity, gluten-free seasonal ciders. Check them out if you’re looking for unusual, flavorful and fun beers.
Rocket Republic Brewing Company
Hate driving down 565? Check out Rocket Republic Brewing Company in Madison. Located just off the county line, they offer a wide variety of great brews with space-industry-inspired names. Try their award-winning Mach 1 IPA, Terrestri-Ale Tripel and Vapor Trail Cream Ale — all Huntsville favorites. You can even buy beer-to-go in their taproom in cans, crowlers or growlers.
Blue Pants Brewery
Nestled deep in Madison, Blue Pants Brewery is another spot renowned for great beer and good times. And for good reason: Blue Pants nailed the classics, like their IPA and Amber Ale. Watch out for great seasonal offerings, like summer’s Wheat with Peach and fall’s Oktoberfest. Blue Pants Brewery offers unreasonably good beer and entertainment.
