The Magic of Model Trains is back at the McWane Center. Since it features Christmas-themed train displays of all sizes, it’s fun for everyone. And there’s even a train ride for the kids, whisking them off into a winter wonderland. Plus, there’s plenty of time to catch the exhibit! The display runs from November 17th, 2018 to January 6th, 2019.

Railroad Park likes to make up for the city’s lack of ice. For the last couple years, the Brrrmingham skating rink has given the Southern city a winter feel. The rink’s open from November 23rd to January 6th, so you’ve got plenty of time to enjoy the magic. You can buy tickets here.

Every year, the Red Mountain Theater Company puts on a show filled with your favorite Christmas music. Plus, with a cast made up on the RMTC Conservatory and other local artists, it truly sets the stage for the season. So trust us: you want to see this show. The Birmingham Zoo gets a Christmas makeover with their ZooLight Safari. With festive lights, the Shipt Candy Cane Train and the Jingle Bell Carousel, there’s something for guests of all ages.
